What makes sauna so healthy?

The sauna actually has many positive health-promoting properties.

On the one hand, you are doing something good for your health, because the targeted temperature change of hot and cold stimuli has been proven to strengthen your immune system. On the other hand, you are relaxing in the sauna, because the steam in combination with salts, herbal essences or essential oils not only relaxes the body, but also clears the head.

Sauna bathing is not only very relaxing, but it also increases your health awareness and your focus on your own well-being. Our own health is the most valuable asset that we have and we must protect it.

Sauna bathing - long-term effects for body, mind and soul

Regular sauna visits have a holistic health-stabilizing effect.

The pleasant heat relaxes the muscles and the increased blood flow relieves the cardiovascular system. While the body detoxifies, the body's defenses are strengthened, which has a positive effect on our immune system. The effective effect on the respiratory tract is also what makes saunas so popular in the cold season.

Which type of KOYA garden sauna is best for me?

Whether Finnish or bio sauna – both have their own advantages and are suitable for a wide variety of needs.

KOYA Finnish sauna

The Finnish sauna, also called a dry sauna , is the classic sauna with a high temperature (80-100 °C ) and relatively low humidity. To increase this for a short time, water is poured over hot stones in the sauna stove - also called "infusion".

KOYA bio sauna

The bio sauna has a low temperature (50-60 °C ) and a humidity of around 50%. It is a milder alternative to the Finnish sauna and is therefore suitable for beginners or more sensitive people.
